Can you lose weight in 7 days? Yes you can! On average it is healthy to lose anything between 0.5 kg to 2 kgs of weight in a week. Here is how you can curate your own 7 day diet plan.

  1. The Meals

This is a sample of how you can eat to promote weight loss

Meal Food
Breakfast 1 cup Protein and 1/3 cup Fruit
Snack 1 medium fruit
Lunch 1 cup Protein, 1 and 1/2 cup Vegetable , 1/3 cup carb (see approved list)
Snack 1/4 cup Nuts
Dinner 1 cup Protein and 1 and 1/2 cup Vegetable

 

2. List of approved foods

Carbs                                                

Plantains, sweet potatoes, cassava, arrowroots, oats, brown rice, githeri, quinoa, chick pea flour, whole grain flours.

Proteins

Lean beef , chicken, eggs , milk, fish, pork, organ meats, legumes

Vegetables

Any vegetable is okay

All raw fruits are allowed.

 

3. Shopping

Make a 1 week diet plan in advance and stock your pantry with these foods while eliminating all the unhealthy foods that may tempt you. Stocking your pantry ensures continuity in your dieting.

 

4. Records

Always write down everything you eat including amounts to ensure you can measure your progress

 

5. Cheat meal

A cheat meal is important because it helps you sustain your diet and boost metabolism so you can burn more fat.
