Oat and brown rice porridge with stewed apples

Ingredients

¼ cup oats
¼ cup boiled brown rice
1 apple, diced
100 ml milk
1 teaspoon coconut oil
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon fresh grated ginger
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds as garnish

Instructions

Cook the oats and brown rice in milk and water to your desired consistency then set aside.


In a pan add the coconut oil, apples, cinnamon and ginger (optional) and cook the apples till desired browning.


In a bowl serve the oat and brown rice porridge and add the stewed apples on top.

Garnish with the pumpkin seeds.
